International relations and main actions: The International cooperation in the field of science and education is carried out within the framework of International agreements concluded by BSATU with foreign scientific and educational institutions and organizations. The University cooperates with more than 90 universities and organizations of CIS, EU countries, China and other countries. BSATU carries out close cooperation with universities of Russia and Kazakhstan in the field of higher and postgraduate education.
BSATU organizes international conferences, meetings, seminars with participation of representatives of educational institutions and the companies of Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and other countries. Students of the University participate in the international programmes of agricultural training. The training of foreign citizens is an important part of BSATU activity. Training specialists for foreign countries has been conducted since 1978. Foreign citizens study at the preparatory department, Russian language courses, faculties, Post graduate studies. Students from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Nigeria, Russia, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, People’s Republic of China, Sri-Lanka, Republic of Ghana, Republic of Cameroon, Republic of Kenya  study at the University. Modern lecture rooms and laboratories, equipped with up-to-date facilities, library, student's canteen, first-aid post, sport complex are available to students. Accommodation is offered to all foreign students.

Living conditions for foreign students:
All foreign students are provided with accommodation in comfortable dormitories right in the city centre (dormitory unit (block) consists of 2 rooms with a shower and a toilet) All dormitories are located on the territory of the University campus.

Apply for an invitation and study visa:

In order to receive an invitation to study in the Republic of Belarus, it is necessary to submit (via e-mail mhurnovich@bsatu.by; interdepbsatu [at] gmail [dot] com;  or fax +375 172 58 41 16; + 375 17 310 07 84) to the Department of International Relations of the University copies of the following documents:

- an application form for issuing an invitation

- copy of the document of education with the subjects and marks (grades) indicated. For general higher education (Bachelor's degree programs) - a document (certificate) of secondary education, for advanced higher education (Master's degree programs) - a diploma (certificate) of higher education (Bachelor's degree); for PhD programs - a Master's degree certificate/ diploma and notarised translation of those documents into Russian.

- copy of the first page of the foreign passport and a notarised translation of this page into Russian;

PLEASE NOTE! The translation of all documents, except for the passport, must be notarized. Foreign applicants must arrange for a notarized translation of their passport upon arrival in the Republic of Belarus.
The International Department sends an official invitation (upon positive approval of the invitation by the migration service) to the candidate for study, which allows to obtain an educational visa at the consular office of the Republic of Belarus at the place of residence of the applicant.

Documents for admission:

-an application for admission;

- copies of educational documents with an appendix of completed subjects and obtained grades or scores (high school certificate, diploma of higher education, its appendix, master's diploma, etc.), as well as notarized translated copies of these documents into Russian (if the documents are not in Russian); copies of other certificates and diplomas of advanced training courses, preparatory department, Russian language courses, foreign language study courses, if available, etc.;

- copy of passport, valid for the duration of studies, with a translation into Russian (if the passport is not in Russian)

- copy of a medical certificate on the state of health issued by an official health authority of the candidate's country of origin with a notarized translated copy into Russian (if not in Russian). The medical certificate must be not older than 6 months!

- copy of an HIV test certificate with a notarized translated copy into Russian (if the document is not in Russian). The medical certificate must be no older than 6 months!

- for minors — a copy of the birth certificate with a notarized translated copy into Russian (if the document is not in Russian)

- not less than 10 photos, sized 3 x 4 cm;

Terms of admission

For admission to BSATU you need to submit your documents no later than:
October 15 - to faculties;
November 1 - to the preparatory department of the faculty for preparation and vocational guidance of the youth;
During the year - Master degree programs and Postgraduate studies.

Cultural life:
Different events for belarusian and foreign students are held annually. Such as creative festivals, “Miss/Mr BSATU ”, literary soiree and etc. Students are given the possibility to take part in different  artistic creativity, sport activities and etc.

Each dormitory has a gym. Every student can visit it.
